System Faults
System fault diagnostics is another important feature which is designed to help the owner/operator diagnose engine faults. These features are referred to as Diagnostic Data 1 and Diagnostic Data 2.Diagnostic Data 1
Whenever an engine fault (alarm) occurs, each electronic gauge module stores a history of the failure including engine Hours at failure, worst case reading and engine hours at failure clearing.* To access this information, the center touch button steps through the six possible error occurrences.* The left touch button selects the function for which the diagnostics will be displayed.* The right touch button steps through the five levels of failure information in the following order:1. Hours at failure (first three digits) "YYY"2. Hours at failure (next four digits) "XX.XX"3. Worst case reading4. Clearing hours (first three digits) "YYY"5. Clearing hours (next four digits) "XX.XX"The hours at failure and clearing hours would be interpreted as "YYYXX.XX", providing a maximum of 99,999.99 hours and an accuracy level of 0.01 hours or 36 seconds.The display will roll over from Level Six to Level One on the error occurences reading, and from Level Five to Level One on the failure information readings.Exit from this mode by activating all three touch buttons simultaneously.Diagnostic Data 2
Diagnostic Data 2 option displays the number of historical failures of each function.The right touch button displays the total number in the following sequence:1. 10,000's of failures (first digit) "Y"2. 1's of failures (next four digits) "XXXX"The total number would be "YXXXX". The display will roll over from Level Two to Level One.The left touch button selects the function for which the number of failures will be displayed.Exit from this mode by activating all three touch buttons simultaneously.
