3. Remove guide (3) and disconnect oil lines (2) and (4) from the junction (1). 4. Remove bolts (6), rear guide shoes (5) and shims. Keep shims with the same shoes for correct installation.5. Move the machine backwards to permit the circle to go past the front guide shoes.6. Lift the drawbar away from the circle.7. Remove the circle assembly and blade from under the machine. Weight is 2500 lb. (1134 kg).Install Circle Assembly And Blade
1. Put the circle assembly and blade under the machine.2. Put blocks under the circle assembly.3. Lower the drawbar and move the machine forward until the front shoes are in position on the circle. 4. Install the guide (3) and lines (2) and (4) on the junction (1). 5. Put rear guide shoes (9) and the shims (7) into place and install bolts (6).6. Check clearance between circle and guide shoes.7. Make adjustment of the clearance between the circle and the guide shoes with the rear shoes in the following way: a) Loosen the bolts that hold the guide shoes to the drawbar frame. Loosen the setscrew locknuts (8) and tighten the setscrews (5) until the guide shoes are tight against the inside edge of the circle.b) Loosen the setscrews until the circle turns freely. Tighten the bolts and locknuts.c) Be sure the adjustment of the guides is the same so there is no restriction at the front of the circle.d) Make the adjustment of the vertical clearance by using shims as needed between the front and rear guide shoes and the circle.e) Make application of ball and roller bearing lubricant on the top and face of the circle teeth and the circle guide shoes to keep wear to a minimum.
