Install a suitable lifting device to the frame by using Tooling (H), as shown. The weight of the frame is approximately 680 kg (1500 lb). Install the frame on the undercarriage, as shown.

Install pin (18) toward the center of frame (19) enough so pin (20) can be installed. Pull pin (18) into frame (19) so that pin (20) is seated in the groove in the frame.

Install the washer and nut (17). Tighten nut (17) to a torque of 500 60 N m (370 45 lb ft).

Install plate (16) and install bolts (15). Tighten bolts (15) to 250 40 N m (185 30 lb ft).

Install plate (14) and the O-ring seal (not shown). Install bolts and washers (13).

Attach a suitable lifting device, as shown. Install the gear and bearing group with the frame. The weight of the gear and bearing group with the frame is approximately 1725 kg (3800 lb).

Use the lifting device and a suitable pry bar in order to tilt the cab leveling group, as shown.
Install the tapered pins into the sides of the frame. Refer to the information at the end of this procedure for installation instructions for the tapered pins.

Install pins (12) for both cylinders. Pin (12) should be centered.

Install plates (11) to each side of pin (12).

Install bolt (10) and plate (9) to each side of pin (12). Torque bolts (10) to a torque of 425 50 N m (315 36 lb ft). Check the gap between plate (9) and the frame. The gap (A) should exist on one or both sides.

Install pin (6). Pin (6) should be installed through block (7), through the rod end of the tilt cylinder, and then through block (8). The smaller diameter of pin (6) should be installed first. The smaller diameter of pin (6) should reside in block (8). Tighten bolts (5) in small increments. The gap between blocks (7) and (8) and the frame should be equal. Tighten bolts (5) in small increments until the final torque is 800 100 N m (590 75 lb ft).
Attach cable assemblies (3) and (4). Install washers and nuts (1) and (2). Tighten nuts (1) and (2) to a torque of 500 60 N m (370 45 lb ft). Installation of the Tapered Pins
Use the following procedure for installing the tapered pins.

Install the plate and seal (1). Plate (1) should be installed to a depth of 98 mm (3.8 inch) (A), as shown.
Install plate (2) onto the end of pin (4). Use bolt (3) in order to hold plate (2) onto pin (4). Install pin (4) and plate (2) until the edge of pin (4) is even with the edge of frame (6). Remove bolt (3).
Install plate (5) onto pin (4). Press plate (5) into the frame until the shoulder of plate (5) rests on the edge of frame (6).
Install the bolt (3) and plate (7). Tighten
