This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.Note: Put identification marks on all hoses, on all wires, and on all tubes for installation purposes. Plug all hoses, and all tubes. This helps to prevent fluid loss and this helps to keep contaminants from entering the system.

Remove guard (1) and plate (2) .

Remove bracket (3) and guard (4) .

Disconnect hose assemblies (7), (8), and (9) from hook winch motor (6) .

Disconnect hose assembly (10) from the hook winch motor.

Disconnect hose assemblies (11) and (12) from the bottom of the hook winch motor.

Disconnect hose assembly (13) from hook winch (14) .

Disconnect hose assemblies (15), (16), and (17) from hook winch (14) .

Use Tool (A), straps, and an appropriate lifting device in order to support the hook winch and the hook winch motor. The combined weight of the hook winch and the hook winch motor is approximately 567 kg (1250 lb).Note: Illustration 10 shows the appropriate location to attach a strap to hook winch motor (6) .

Remove two mounting bolts (18). Repeat for the other side of the hook winch.

Lift hook winch (14). Move the hook winch outward toward the front of the machine. Lower the hook winch onto the cribbing. Illustration 12 shows the correct procedure for supporting the hook winch.

Attach a strap and a suitable lifting device to winch drum (19) .

Remove hook winch (14) from the machine.
