This Program must be administered as soon as possible.When reporting the repair, use "PI32116" as the Part Number and "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Codeand "T" as the SIMS Description code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI32116" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number,"96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

PROBLEM
The B3 planetary ball bearing needs to be replaced on certain TH55-E70 Frac transmissions. The existing B3 bearing can wear prematurely due to axial load.

ACTION REQUIRED
Refer to the Service Manual if/as required.
Perform ECM download prior to transmissions removal. Complete product status report including histograms for engine and transmission.
Obtain oil samples from transmission sample port prior to removal and provide SOS results (particle count & wear metals) in SIMSI entry.
Shut down the machine and disconnect it from all power sources and loads. Observe proper lock out and tag out procedures. Do not start any maintenance activity without reading and fully understanding the instructions.
Refer to Mechanical Application and Installation manual REHS2893 for proper transmission installation and removal procedures.
Refer to Disassembly and Assembly manual RENR6062 for proper transmission rebuild procedures.
Refer to Operations and Maintenance Manual SEBU8208 for proper startup and operating procedures.
Perform removal and disassembly of the transmission.
Replace the 124-3307 Bearing in position "B3" with a 369-4015 Bearing and permanently mark the removed bearing with the transmission serial number, "B3", and "output end" indicating installed direction.
Replace the 124-3307 Bearing in position "B4" with a new 124-3307 Bearing and permanently mark the removed bearing with the transmission serial number, "B4", and "output end" indicating installed direction.
Using a dial indicator, measure the bearing endplay in the removed 124-3307 Bearings Document this endplay by filing a SIMSI entry.
Perform assembly and installation of the transmission.
Perform Fill Calibration of the transmission and functional checks.
