The Dowtherm Test Strips (Part No. 1210), which have been used in the past to check the concentration of corrosion inhibitor in coolant, are no longer available from Dow Chemical.
Test strips, which can be used to check Nalcool 2000 or Caterpillar 3P2044 Corrosion Inhibitor, are available from Nalco Chemical Co. distributors. These test strips are to be used only when testing coolant that has Nalcool 2000 or Caterpillar 3P2044 Corrosion Inhibitor. The strips are packaged fifty (50) per bottle with instructions for their use.
