1. Shut off gas supply to the gas pressure regulator.2. Disconnect tube (2) and control rod (4) from carburetor (3).3. Remove clamp (6) from the joint assembly.4. Remove four bolts (1) and the gasket between the carburetor and the adapter.5. Remove four bolts (5) and remove carburetor (3) and the gasket from the manifold. The following steps are for the installation of the carburetor.6. Position carburetor (3) on the manifold. Make sure the gaskets are in place on the manifold and the adapter. Install bolts (1) and (5) that hold the carburetor in place.7. Install clamp (6) on the joint assembly. Tighten the clamp to a torque of 12 0.5 N m (108 4 lb.in.).8. Connect tube (2) and control rod (4) to the carburetor.9. Check the linkage adjustment. See Governor Linkage Adjustment in Testing And Adjusting.10. Turn on gas supply to the gas pressure regulator.Disassemble Carburetor
Start By:a. remove carburetor 1. Remove adapter assembly (1) and the gasket from body assembly (2). 2. Remove the screws, cover (5), spring (4) and air valve assembly (3) from the body assembly. 3. Remove four screws (6) and diaphragm (7) from the air valve assembly. 4. Remove the screws and disc (10) from shaft (11).5. Loosen the bolt and remove lever assembly (8) from the shaft.6. Loosen the set screw and remove stop assembly (9) from the shaft. Remove shaft (11) from the body assembly. 7. Remove the screws and body (12) from body assembly (13).8. Remove the bolts, and remove body assembly (13) from body (14).Assemble Carburetor
1. Put the gasket and body assembly (13) in position on body (14) and install the bolts.2. Put body (12) in position on body assembly (13) and install the screws. 3. Install shaft (11) in the body assembly. Position stop assembly (9) on the shaft and tighten the set screw.4. Install lever assembly (8) on the shaft and tighten the bolt.5. Install disc (10) and the screws on shaft (11). 6. Install diaphragm (7) and four screws (6) on the air valve assembly. 7. Install air valve assembly (3), spring (4) and cover (5) on the body assembly and install the screws. 8. Put the gasket and adapter assembly (1) in position on body assembly (2) and install the bolts.End By:a. install carburetor
