Introduction
The following special instruction outlines the procedure to rework the 361-1097 Quick Coupler Ar to avoid interference between the coupler, the power link, and the hoses.Safety
Sudden movement or accidental starting of the machine can cause personal injury or death to persons on or near the machine.To prevent personal injury or death, perform the following:Park the machine on a smooth level surface.Lower the bucket and or attachments to the ground.Stop the engine and engage the parking brake.Block the wheels and install the steering frame lock.Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position and remove the key.Place a Special Instruction, SEHS7332, "Do Not Operate" tag at the battery disconnect switch location to inform personnel that the machine is being worked on.
Personal injury can result from removing hoses or fittings in a pressure system.Failure to relieve pressure can cause personal injury.Do not disconnect or remove hoses or fittings until all pressure in the system has been relieved.
Personal injury can result from improper troubleshooting and repair procedures.The following troubleshooting and repair procedures should only be performed by qualified personnel familiar with this equipment.

Machine the areas shown.
Debur machined edge (1) .
Fillet edge (2) to match existing casting.Modification of Cast Power Link

Grind edge (3). Grind the radius with no sharp edges down the length of the lower inside left-hand edge of power link.
