Probable Causes
This condition does not indicate an electronic system problem. The low idle speed may be elevated due to one of the following features:
Low Battery Elevated Idle Speed
Cold Mode Elevated Idle Speed
Neutral Coast Elevated Idle SpeedNote: The "Elevated Idle" status flag will be activated if one of the above features is active. Conditions
Low Battery Elevated Idle Speed
The engine idle speed will be elevated to 1000 rpm when all of the following conditions occur:
System battery voltage is less than 24.5 VDC for 5 minutes.
The throttle pedal position is below 25 percent for 5 minutes.
The machine is not in gear.
The parking brake is set.Cold Mode Elevated Idle Speed
The engine idle speed will be elevated to 1000 rpm when all of the following conditions occur:
Cold mode is active.
The throttle pedal position has not exceeded 25 percent for 10 minutes.
The machine is not in gear.
The parking brake is set.Neutral Coast Elevated Idle Speed
The engine idle speed will be elevated to 1300 rpm when all of the following conditions occur:
The machine is in neutral.
The machine ground speed is greater than 12 mph.
