(9) Passage for rod end of cylinder Note: The pump oil pressure in the rod end circuit of the bowl cylinders is approximately 5175 kPa (750 psi).The oil from the pump that is used to lift the apron flows through passage (1) to the head end of the apron cylinder. The pump oil in passage (1) also moves piston (7) which opens check valve (6). As the apron moves up, the oil from the rod end of the cylinder flows through the open check valve into opening (8) and through the common oil line to the implement control valve.

(12) Line from head end of cylinder When the apron is lowered, the pump oil from the common oil line will flow through opening (8). The pump oil will then open check valve (6) and flow into passage (9) and into the rod end of the apron cylinder. The pump oil that flows through opening (8) also flows through passage (5) to stem (4). The pump oil moves the stem against relief valve (3) in order to keep the relief valve closed. The oil from the head end of the apron cylinder flows through passage (1) and to the implement control valve.Shims (2) are used to change the pressure setting of relief valve (3). Remove shims (2) in order to decrease or add shims (2) in order to increase the pressure setting of the relief valve.
