Illustration 1 g06192585The Chassis ECM energizes the "Autolube" relay about 10 minutes after the machine starts. Current is supplied to the "Autolube" pump unit. The "Autolube" solenoid valve is energized, beginning the lubrication cycle.At every 60 minute interval, the Chassis ECM turns on the "Autolube" relay which stays on for a specified period. When the time is up, the Chassis ECM de-energizes the "Autolube" relay. The "Autolube" solenoid valve is de-energized, concluding the lubrication cycle. The Chassis ECM restarts the lubrication cycle when the next 60 minute interval begins. Then, the whole process repeats, and continues until the machine is turned off.As the "Autolube" solenoid valve is turned on, the solenoid makes a click. This click can be heard or the click can be felt. If the solenoid click occurs at the time that is described above, the electrical system is operating properly.
