A 263-0879 Sealing Tape 1 Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, thoroughly clean all parts in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Do not use wiping cloths or rags to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement. Dirt and other contaminants can damage the precision component. Perform assembly procedures on a clean work surface. Keep components covered and protected at all times.

Install indicator plate (8), grommet (7), and glass (6) into retainer (10). Install O-ring seals (9).
Position retainer (10) and cover (12) and install bolts (11). Tighten bolts (11) to a torque of 30 7 N m (22 5 lb ft).
Repeat Steps 1 and 2 in order to install gauges (13) and (14).

Install relief valves (5). Tighten relief valves (5) to a torque of 165 15 N m (122 11 lb ft).

Install the gaskets and covers (4).

Lubricate the seals with the lubricant that is being sealed. Install switches (1) and (2). Tighten switches (1) and (2) to a torque of 33 4 N m (24 3 lb ft).
Apply Tooling (A) to sensor (3). Install sensor (3) and tighten by hand. Tighten until the tank fitting and the head of the probe are a distance of 17.7 mm (0.70 inch).
Pressure test the hoist/brake tank to a pressure of 35 kPa (5 psi). Pressure test the steering tank to a pressure of 50 kPa (7 psi). End By:
