Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the removal procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.Note: Put identification marks on all lines, on all hoses, on all wires and on all tubes for installation purposes. Plug all lines, all hoses and all tubes. This helps to prevent fluid loss and this helps to keep contaminants from entering the system.
Drain the hydraulic system. The capacity of the hydraulic tank is 450 L (119 US gal).Reference: Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU7172, "Lubrication viscosities and Refill Capacities"

Remove six bolts (1) and the washers. Remove cover (2) .

Disconnect three electrical connections (4) .
Remove four bolts (3), the washers and the electrical panel.

Remove four bolts (6) that hold manifold (5) to the hydraulic filter.

Attach Tooling (A), a suitable lifting sling and a hoist to the hydraulic filter.
Remove two bolts (7) and the washers. Remove four bolts (8) and the washers.
Use Tooling (A) and a hoist to remove the hydraulic filter. The weight of the hydraulic filter is 27 kg (60 lb).

Remove O-ring (9) from manifold (5) .

Disconnect electrical connection (10) from the hydraulic tank.

Disconnect tee (11) .

Remove tee (12) from the back of the hydraulic tank.
Remove three bolts (13), the washers, the clips and the hose assemblies from the back of the hydraulic tank.

Loosen two clamps (15). Remove hose (14) from the hydraulic tank.

Remove bolt (16), two bolts (17), four bolts (18) and the washers from the hand rail. Remove the hand rail in order to provide clearance during the removal of the hydraulic tank.

Remove two bolts (19) and the washers from the hydraulic tank.

Remove six nuts (20) and the washers that hold the hydraulic tank to the machine.

Attach a hoist and a suitable lifting device to the hydraulic tank, as shown.
Remove the hydraulic tank. The weight of the hydraulic tank is 205 kg (450 lb).
