PROBLEM
The existing software can cause loss of high speed regeneration on certain C13 Industrial Engines. This may occur while operating at high loads for extended periods of time in warm ambient climates.

ACTION REQUIRED
1.) Copy the Engine ECM current configuration through Cat ET.
2.) Flash the new engine control software.
3.) Refer to Engine News, SEBD9857, "New Cat Electronic Technician (ET) Configuration Parameters Are Available for Tier 4 Industrial Engines" to confirm high speed regeneration parameters are still configured properly.
