VALVE 2M1167 - Caterpillar

1. Turn fuel supply valve (2) to the "OFF" position. Disconnect hose (1) from the fuel supply valve. 2. Disconnect fuel return hose (3) from the bottom of the fuel tank. 3. Open the control console panels, and remove bolts (4). 4. Attach a hoist to fuel tank (5). Remove bolt (6), and remove the fuel tank and shims from the mainframe. The weight of an empty fuel tank is 350 kg (770 lb.). The following steps are for installation of the fuel tank.5. Make sure the correct amount of shims are in place, and use a hoist to position fuel tank (5) on the mainframe. Install bolts (4) and (6).6. Connect fuel return hose (3) and fuel supply hose (1).7. Turn fuel supply valve (2) to the "ON" position.
