3. Disconnect hydraulic lines (1), (4), and (5) from pumps.4. Remove inlet air pipe.5. Disconnect oil cooler lines (2).6. Remove air compressor and lower stud. 7. Disconnect electrical wiring (6) to starting motor and fuel pressure switch (7). 8. Disconnect temperature sensors (3).9. Disconnect air lines (8) from engine dash.10. Remove side panel by operator seat.11. Disconnect governor control linkage (9).12. Disconnect alternator wiring (10).13. Disconnect hose loom from engine transfer gear.14. Disconnect engine oil pressure gauge line.15. Disconnect transfer gear vent line.16. Disconnect hydraulic hose near coupling and remove coupling guard. Disconnect front of coupling. Do not remove entire universal joint.17. Remove engine mounting bolts. These bolts are very tight. For the rear mounts, use a long 3/4" drive extension, or series of extensions, so that the handle is above the engine dash-approximately 3 ft. (1 meter). 18. Attach hoist and remove engine and transfer gear-weight 7,100 lbs. (3220 kg).Install Engine (And Transfer Gear)
1. Attach hoist and position engine in tractor.2. Install mounting bolts.3. Install air compressor and lower stud.4. Connect coupling, install guard, and connect hydraulic hose near coupling. 5. Connect hydraulic lines (1), (4), and (5) to pumps and valves.6. Connect air lines at engine dash, air compressor, and air reservoirs. 7. Connect wiring to starting motor (6), alternator (10), and fuel pressure switch (7).8. Connect temperature gauge sensors (3).9. Connect engine oil pressure gauge line and transfer gear vent lines.10. Attach hose looms to transfer gear case.11. Connect governor control linkage (9) and install side panel.12. Install inlet air pipe.13. Connect oil cooler lines (2).14. Fill with lubricant to proper level.concluding step: a) install radiator
