PROBLEM
The existing tie rod can bend on certain 16M Motor Graders. If the existing tie rod (264-1164) bends it may lead to front tire misalignment potentially causing premature tire wear.

ACTION REQUIRED
If the tie rod is bent, replace the existing 264-1164 Tie Rod with a new 361-4431 Tie Rod. Replace the 348-2596 Steering Hose with a 365-1277 Steering Hose. Replace the 302-2654 Steering Hose with a 365-1278 Steering Hose. Refer to the Service Manual D&A module KENR6018 for hose and tie rod removal and replacement.
