PROBLEM
The existing 264-1466 Bracket within the 250-0159 Cover GP-Control valve may crack/break on certain 16M Motor Graders. This can happen under certain conditions in some severe applications. The 264-1466 Bracket is being replaced with 3907871/">390-7871 and 3912973/">391-2973 Brackets.

ACTION REQUIRED
Using image 1 remove the 290-3491 Center Cover and the 310-2654 Rear Cover on top of front frame. Remove the exsisting 264-1466 Bracket used for supporting the rear and middle covers on the front frame located on the top of frame. Replace with (1) 3907871 Bracket and (1) 3912973 Bracket bolted together using (4) 8T4224 Washers-Hard and 8T4908 Bolts-Hex head. (Use two new bolts and washers plus two that were removed.)
