The new 136-7822 Transmission Control is adaptable to the above listed machines with autoshift transmission controls only. For autoshift machines with the 4E-0599 Harness, installation of the new electronic shifter requires the fabrication of an adapter harness assembly and wiring modifications in order to provide 24 Volts DC to the shifter. For autoshift machines upgraded with the 122-6078 Harness, the 136-7822 Transmission Control is a direct replacement for the 109-3664 Transmission Control.
Special Instruction REHS0196-01, "Retrofitting the 136-7822 Transmission Control for the 109-3664 Transmission Control," provides a description of the parts and tools needed, instructions for fabricating the adapater harness assembly, and the procedure for removing the old 109-3664 Transmission Control and installing the new 136-7822 Transmission Control.
The new 136-7822 Transmission Control is effective with the 924F (5NN742-Up, 4YN546-Up, 6MN575-Up) and 928F (2XL2022-Up, 8AK974-Up) Wheel Loaders; and IT24F (4NN632-Up, 6KN208-Up) and IT28F (3CL2044-Up, 1JL367-Up) Integrated Toolcarriers.
