Remove bolts (7). Separate cover assembly (8) from case (9).

Position cover assembly (8) on the opposite side.
Remove O-ring seal (10) from cover assembly (8).

Use a suitable press in order to separate cover assembly (8) and clutch housing assembly (11).

Remove lip seal (12). Use Tooling (A) in order to remove retaining ring (13). Use a suitable press in order to remove bearing (14).

Remove retaining ring (15). Remove retaining plate (16). Remove discs and clutch plates (17).

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
Use Tooling (B) and a suitable press to reposition piston (18). Use Tooling (C) in order to remove retaining ring (19). Remove piston (18).

Remove seal (20) from piston (18).

Remove spring (21) from clutch housing assembly (11).

Remove seal rings (22) from shaft assembly (24). Use Tooling (D) in order to remove retaining ring (23).

Use a suitable press in order to remove shaft assembly (24) from case (9).

Remove seal (25) from shaft assembly (24).
Firmly secure shaft assembly (24) with a suitable vise. Protect shaft assembly (24) in order to prevent damage during clamping.
Use a hammer and a chisel in order to break sleeve (30). Use extreme care to prevent damage to shaft assembly (24).
