Formerly a hydraulic actuator was used. The electrical actuator is more reliable than the hydraulic actuator. Use of the electrical actuator will also help eliminate possible hydraulic leaks.Adaptable To: The 9W273 Solenoid Assembly replaces the 4W8728 Valve Group used to control the dual horsepower function of the governor on 3306 Vehicular Engines in the above 140G Motor Graders. The electrical actuator is in effect with 140G Motor Graders 50H1261, 72V10334, and 13W1261. The electrical actuator can be installed on earlier Motor Graders, D5B SA (26X, 21Y), and D6D SA (19B, 5X, 1Y) Tractors with dual horsepower.
