VALVE GP-RIDE CONTROL 3526562 - Caterpillar

1. Remove bolts and nuts (1) from the storage holes of the pivot points that are located under the front of the operators platform. 2. Remove bolts (2), the spacers, washers and nuts that fasten the operators platform to the frame. 3. Install Tooling (A) on each side of operators platform (3) as shown. Attach lifting straps and a hoist to Tooling (A). 4. Raise the operators platform as shown. Install bolts and nuts (1) (which were removed during Step 1) to hold operators platform (3) in the tilted position. To lower the operators platform, reverse the steps used to tilt it.Remove & Install Operators Platform 7352-010
1. Tilt the operators platform. Refer to the topics "Tilt & Lower Operators Platform" in this module. 2. Disconnect wiring harnesses (1) and (3).3. Remove the two nuts and clamp (2).
Personal injury can result from hydraulic oil pressure and hot oil.Hydraulic oil pressure can remain in the hydraulic system after the engine has been stopped. Serious injury can be caused if this pressure is not released before any service is done on the hydraulic system.Make sure all of the attachments have been lowered, oil is cool before removing any components or lines. Remove the oil filler cap only when the engine is stopped, and the filler cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting, and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Caterpillar Tools and Shop Products Guide" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Caterpillar products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.
Identify all hydraulic lines as they are removed for reinstallation purposes. Cap and plug all lines and fittings to prevent any contaminants from entering the system.4. Release the pressure in the hydraulic system by slowly loosening the fill cap located on the top of the hydraulic oil tank. 5. Disconnect hose assemblies (4) and (5). Cap and plug immediately.6. Disconnect hose assemblies (7) and (8). Cap and plug immediately.7. Remove the bolt, and remove hose assemblies (4), (5) and (9) from clamp (6).8. Remove bolt (8), and remove hose assembly (7) from the clamp. 8. Disconnect hose assemblies (10). Cap and plug immediately. 9. Disconnect hose assembly (11). Cap and plug immediately.10. Remove the bolt and clamp that fastens hose assemblies (10) and (11) to the frame. 11. Lower the operators platform. See the topic "Tilt & Lower Operators Platform" in this module.12. Remove bolts (12) and the lock nuts. 13. Remove bolt (13) from each side of the front rail assembly. 14. Install Tooling (A) at each corner of operators platform (14) as shown. Attach lifting straps and a hoist to Tooling (A) and remove the operators platform from the machine. The weight of the operators platform is 475 kg (1050 lb). 15.
