The service claim allowance chart in the Service Claim Allowances applies to before failure repairs and after failure repairs after the Affected Product is out of standard warranty. For after failure repairs performed during the standard warranty period, standard warranty terms will apply but continue to use this Service Letter Program Number as the part causing failure.
Note: The 445-4930 Oil Filter Housing requires a new 394-4550 Oil Filter Element. For future service, ensure proper stocking levels of the new element are achieved prior to performing this program. Service replacement 394-4550 Oil Filter Elements are not covered under this program.
Refer to Special Instruction, REHS8661, "Procedure to Retrofit the Oil Filter Housing Group on Certain C175 Off Highway Truck Engines".
