A crosshair is used to examine a displayed signal. The crosshair will show the actual value and the time that the value was present. To access the crosshair, move the cursor into the graph of a tile. You can move the crosshair with the mouse or the arrow keys. In order to change the scrolling history graph back to a bar graph, click the second square in the top left corner of the tile. When the crosshairs are active, crosshairs will open in all line graphs. When you place the crosshairs on a target tile, the crosshairs will be shown as blue. The position of the crosshair will determine the reading that is received of the other open tiles at that position and at that moment in time. This feature allows the user to view any changes that have taken place in the system over time or at any one particular moment in time.Text Log

Text messages from UPSView contain information on the status of the system. This information is displayed by color coding. The severity of the information can be determined by the color of the text.Green - The information that is shown in green represents the present status of the system with no warnings.Yellow - The information that is shown in yellow contains important information. This warning indicates problems within the system. These problems should be repaired promptly.Red - The information that is shown in red on the text display is a direct warning that shows the precise nature of the system fault.
