Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Use Tooling (A) and a suitable press to install pulley (9) on shaft assembly (8).
Use Tooling (B) and a suitable press to install seal assembly (6) in housing (7).
Use Tooling (A) and a suitable press to install shaft assembly (8) into housing (7). Install the shaft assembly until the bearing is flush with the housing.
Use Tooling (A) and a suitable press to install impeller (5) on shaft assembly (8). Install the impeller until the distance between the impeller and the machined surface of the water pump is 0.75 0.25 mm (0.030 0.010 inch).
Install new gasket (4).
Position cover (3) and install bolts (2). Install new O-ring seals (1). End By:
Install the water pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Water Pump - Install".
