Do not connect or disconnect hose fittings to or from the quick disconnect nipples when there is pressure in the system. This will prevent damage to the seals that are in the fitting.

P1, P2, and P3 Pressure Test
Use the following procedure to check the pressure of the following components: direction clutch oil P2, speed clutch oil P1 and torque converter inlet oil P3.

Location of Transmission Pressure Taps (1) Direction clutch (P2). (2) Torque converter inlet oil (P3). (3) Speed clutch (P1).The operator's cab has been removed for clarity.

Right Side of the Machine
Remove the cover.
Separately check the oil pressure at each pressure tap.
Install the correct hose assembly 1U-5482 Pressure Adapter Group on the following taps: direction clutch (P2) (1), torque converter inlet oil (P3) (2) and speed clutch (P1) (3). Attach the opposite end of the hose assembly to the 1U-5481 Pressure Gauge Group .
Start the engine and operate the engine at high idle. Make sure that the transmission oil is at normal operating temperature. Read the pressure on the gauge. The pressure should be equal to the values that are found in Table 2, that follows.Test for Torque Converter Outlet Pressure

Open the right side cover for the engine compartment.
Attach the correct hose assembly 1U-5482 Pressure Adapter Group to torque converter outlet pressure tap (5). Attach the opposite end of the hose to the 1U-5481 Pressure Gauge Group .
Start the engine and operate the engine at high idle. The oil must be at normal operating temperature. Read the pressure on the gauge. The pressure should be equal to the value that is found in Table 2, that follows.Test for Lubrication Oil Pressure
Use the following procedure in order to check the pressure of the transmission oil lubrication.
Open the left side cover for the engine compartment.
Attach the correct hose assembly 1U-5482 Pressure Adapter Group to transmission lubrication pressure tap (4). Attach the opposite end of the hose to the 1U-5481 Pressure Gauge Group .
Start the engine and operate the engine at high idle. The oil must be at normal operating temperature. Read the pressure on the gauge. The pressure should be equal to the value that is found in Table 2, that follows.Transmission Oil Pump
