Installation Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Note: Verify that all of the components of the input transfer gear are clean and free of foreign material prior to installation.Note: Check all of the O-ring seals and the components for wear or damage. Replace the components, if necessary. Lubricate the O-ring seals lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.

Attach a suitable lifting device around input transfer gear (3) . The weight of input transfer gear (3) is approximately 191 kg (420 lb).
Position input transfer gear case (3) and the O-ring seal to the output transfer gear case.
Install 12 bolts (6) that secure input transfer gear (3) to the output transfer gear case.

Position clamp (5) to input transfer gear (3) . Install bolt (4) that secures clamp (5) and the hose assembly to input transfer gear (3) .
Connect hose assembly (2) to the bearing cage of input transfer gear (3) .

The power train guard is removed for photographic purposes.
Close drain adapter (1) on the bottom of the output transfer gear case. Fill the output transfer gear case with oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance, "Transmission Oil Level - Change".
After idling the machine for two minutes, recheck the oil level of the output transfer gear case. If necessary, fill the output transfer gear case.End By:
Install the input drive shaft. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Input Drive Shaft - Remove and Install".
Separate the frame lock link. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Frame Lock Link - Separate and Connect".
Remove the wheel chocks. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Wheel Chock (Front and Rear) - Remove and Install".
