This diagnostic code is recorded when the Advisor module reads the voltage of the action lamp (wire 411-PK(Pink)) and the voltage is above normal. There is a possible short to the +battery circuit.System Response:The failure of the CID 1426 FMI 03 diagnostic code will cause the action lamp to be continuously ON. Test Step 1. CHECK OF THE LAMP CIRCUIT
Turn the disconnect switch and the key start switch to the OFF position.
Disconnect the machine harness connector from the Advisor module.
Turn the disconnect switch to the ON position.
Observe the action lamp.
Turn the key start switch to the ON position. Expected Result:The action lamp is OFF. Note: The action lamp will FLASH during the "key ON self test".Results:
OK - The action lamp is OFF.Repair: The Advisor module has failed. It is unlikely that the Advisor module has failed. Exit this procedure and perform this procedure again. If the failure is not found, replace the Advisor module.STOP
NOT OK - The action lamp is ON. Repair: The harness circuit (wire 411-PK(Pink)) is shorted to the +battery circuit. Repair the machine harness or replace the machine harness.STOP
