Warning Signs and Labels
There are several specific safety signs on your machine. Their exact location and description of the hazard are reviewed in this section. Please take the time to familiarize yourself with these safety signs.Make sure that you can read all safety signs and instruction labels. Clean or replace these labels if you cannot read the words or see the pictures. When cleaning the labels use a cloth, water and soap. Do not use solvent, gasoline, etc.You must replace a decal if it is damaged, missing or cannot be read. If a decal is on a part that is replaced, make sure a new decal is installed on the replaced part. See your Caterpillar dealer for new labels.
Do not operate this machine unless you have read and understand the instructions in the "Operation and Maintenance Manual". Improper machine operation is dangerous and could result in injury or death.The "Operation and Maintenance Manual" is in the holder located in the operator's compartment or on the seat back. Contact any Caterpillar dealer for a replacement manual. Proper operation is your responsibility.

To avoid possible weakening of this ROPS, consult a Caterpillar dealer before altering this ROPS in any way. The protection offered by this ROPS will be impaired if it has been subjected to structural damage. Structural damage is likely to occur in an overturn accident.
Located outside of the cab, above the right door.
Removal of this cover or valves will cause truck to drop suddenly if not properly blocked. Serious injury or death could result if person is trapped between tire and platform or fender. See Service Manual for correct procedure.
Located on the right and left front suspension cylinders.
