Rear Axle Trunnion Bearings
Lubricate
1. Lubricate one fitting in the front trunnion of the rear axle. 2. Lubricate one fitting in the rear trunnion of the rear axle.Total of two fittings.Steering Cylinder Bearings
Lubricate
1. Lubricate one fitting in the head end lube block of the steering cylinder on each side of the machine. 2. Lubricate one fitting in the rod end of the steering cylinder on each side of the machine.Total of four fittings.Bucket Cylinder and Linkage Bearings
Lubricate
1. Lubricate one fitting on the upper pivot pin of the bucket. 2. Lubricate two fittings on each side of the machine. 3. Lubricate one fitting on the bucket cylinder and two fittings on the lift cylinder (one on each side of the machine. 4. Lubricate one fitting on the lower bucket link. 5. Lubricate two fittings on the bucket tilt link.Total of 11 fittings.Batteries
Check Electrolyte Level
Do not smoke when observing the battery electrolyte level. Batteries give off fumes that can explode.Electrolyte is an acid and can cause personal injury if it contacts the skin or eyes.
1. Unlatch the battery compartment in the radiator compartment of the machine.2. Clean the top of the batteries. Coat all posts with petroleum jelly.Low Maintenance Batteries with Refillable Cells Only
3. Remove each fill cap. Inspect the electrolyte level.4. If necessary, add distilled water to bring the electrolyte level to the bottom of the fill opening.At proper charge rate in a temperate climate, a battery will not require more than 30 cc (1 ounce) of water per cell per week.5. Install all fill caps.6. Close the battery compartment.
