Information:

Unexpected movement or a crushing hazard which could result in serious injury or death can occur while the machine is in operation. Before you adjust the moldboard pressure with the moldboard down pressure adjustment control which is located underneath the rear of the machine, stop the machine, apply the parking brake, and disengage the rotor.
The moldboard down pressure can only be adjusted while the moldboard is in the AUTOMATIC mode.Note: Only adjust the moldboard down pressure when the machine is parked on a flat surface. Only adjust the moldboard down pressure when the machine is parked on a level surface.Note: Make sure that the parking brake is on when you adjust the moldboard down pressure.Note: The pressure range for the down pressure of the moldboard is 689 kPa (100 psi) to 6890 kPa (1000 psi). Setting the down pressure of the moldboard above 1380 kPa (200 psi) is not recommended. If the down pressure of the moldboard is set above 1380 kPa (200 psi), the following problems may occur:
The moldboard may dig into the road.
The machine will operate with reduced capacity.
Excessive wear of the scraper blade for the moldboard could result.Note: In the automatic mode for the moldboard, the pressure is applied to both of the moldboard cylinders.Increase the down pressure of the moldboard if the milled surface is not being cleaned sufficiently. Increase the pressure in small increments. Operate at a pressure that is the minimum for adequate cleanup of the milled surface.
