Removal Procedure

Open the left side access doors (1).
Turn the battery disconnect switch into the OFF position.

Remove nut (2). Remove cover (3), cover (4), and the nuts.

Disconnect cable assembly (7) and (8). Remove cable assembly (5). Use two people to remove battery (6). The weight of battery (6) is approximately 27 kg (60 lb). Repeat for the other batteries.Installation Procedure

Use two people to install battery (6). The weight of battery (6) is approximately 27 kg (60 lb). Install cable assembly (5). Connect cable assembly (7) and (8).

Install cover (4), cover (3), and tighten the nuts to a torque of 20 5 N m (177 44 lb in). Hand tighten nut (2).
Turn the battery disconnect switch into the ON position.
