D 5P-3931 Anti-Seize Compound 1 Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before you begin the installation procedure, the exterior of the components should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.

Attach a suitable lifting device to piston motor (4). The weight of motor (4) is approximately 200 kg (440 lb).
Install piston motor (4) and install bolts (8).

Flip the unit in order to complete the installation.
Install cover (7). Connect hose (6) and hose assemblies (5).

Install Tooling (B) and Tooling (C). Attach a suitable lifting device and remove hub (3). The weight of hub (3) is approximately 40 kg (88 lb).
Position hub (3) onto piston motor (4). Use Tooling (B) as a guide.

Install bolt (1) and tighten to a torque of 100 20 N m (74 15 lb ft).
Measure the distance between the end of the shaft and the plate. Subtract this measurement from 0.40 0.05 mm (0.016 0.002 inch). Remove bolt (1).
Add the necessary shims in order to equal the above measurement.
Apply Tooling (D) to the shaft. Install the washer and bolt (1). Tighten Bolt (1) to a torque of 800 100 N m (590 74 lb ft). End By:
Install the fan. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fan - Remove and Install" for the correct procedure.
