Aluminum pistons have three piston rings. Two compression rings and one oil ring
Aluminum connecting rods have removable bearing caps. Wrist pins have machined journals with a replaceable bushing in the connecting rod.
The cast iron crankshaft has machined journals with a double roll ball bearing that is replaceable on the driven side. The cover for the rear end is replaceable.
The intake check valves and the discharge valves are reed valves.
The compressor is lubricated by the lubrication system of the engine.
