Tighten bolts (2) for outer bearing brackets A and D to a torque of 12 3 N m (9 2 lb ft).3. Tighten the bolts (2) for inner bearing brackets B and C to a torque of 12 3 N m (9 2 lb ft).4. Position the inner bearings B and C to allow free rotation of the rack control rod.5. Tighten two screws (1) on inner bearing brackets B and C to 3.5 0.2 N m (2.57 .15 lb ft).6. Control rod must rotate when force of 4.4 N (1 lb) or less is applied to control lever (3) in direction indicated by arrows.Use the following procedure for assembly on the 7W-8600 Fuel Injection Control Group (3114 Engines):
