This Program can be administered either before or after a failure. In either case the decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS4955" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "T" as the SIMS Description Code. If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

The wastegate may be slow to respond if pressure is built up on the backside of the diaphragm of certain 793, 793B and 793C Off-Highway Trucks. The new breather will relieve this pressure. The stroke is also being increased to get the maximum opening possible to divert excess exhaust gas away from the turbo turbines.

1. On the top of the wastegate, remove the 1116113 Valve Stop.2. On the 1269398 Wastegate, remove the 3V3308 Washer and replace with 5 - 9P8217 Washers. On the 1364405 Wastegate add 1- 9P8217 Washer to the existing 4 washers or 1 large spacer. Replace the 1116113 Valve Stop. Remove the 8T6764 Plug from valve stop and replace with 4H0553 Adapter and 9G5127 Breather. See Illustration 1.
