14. Disconnect hose assemblies (12) from the tube assemblies. Put caps or plugs in the hose assemblies and tube assemblies to prevent any oil loss.15. Remove the bolts and disconnect bracket (13) from the bracket assembly. 16. Fasten nylon straps (14) and a hoist to top "H" link (15) as shown.17. Remove bolts (17) and retainers (16) from both sides of top "H" link (15) at the cushion hitch load cylinder. The draft frame or tractor may be raised or lowered to release the tension from the pin.18. Use tooling (C) or tool (D) to remove the pin from the top "H" link and cushion hitch load cylinder. The weight of the pin is 43 kg (95 lb.). When the pin is removed, the washers between the bracket assembly and the "H" link are free to fall.19. Move the top "H" link against bracket assembly (5) (see illustration B73479X1) and use chains to hold it. The weight of the top "H" link is 193 kg (425 lb.). 20. Remove bolts (18) and disconnect retainer (19) from the bottom "H" link at the cushion hitch load cylinder. 21. Remove the cotter pin, pin (20) and disconnect linkage (21) from the spring.22. Remove the bolts and bracket (22) from retainer (23).23. Remove the bolts and disconnect retainer (23) from the bottom "H" link at the cushion hitch load cylinder. 24. Fasten nylon strap (24) and a hoist on the rod end of cushion hitch load cylinder (25) as shown. 25. Put wooden blocks (26) under each side of the hitch assembly as shown to prevent side-to-side movement of the hitch assembly. 26. Use tool (D) to move pin (27) far enough to clear the cushion hitch load cylinder. The washer between the bottom "H" link and the hitch assembly is free to fall after pin (27) is moved.27. Remove cushion hitch load cylinder (25) from the machine. The weight of the load cylinder is 200 kg (441 lb.).Install Cushion Load Cylinder
1. Fasten a nylon strap and a hoist on cushion hitch load cylinder (1) and put it in position on the machine as shown. Make sure the washer is between the hitch assembly and the bottom "H" link before installation of lower "H" link pin.2. Put clean grease on pin (2) and, if necessary, use tool (A) to move the pin into place in the hitch assembly. 3. Install retainers (4) on both sides of the bottom "H" link.4. Install the bracket on the right retainer.5. Connect linkage (5) on spring (6) with pin (3) and the cotter pin. 6. Make an alignment of the cushion hitch load cylinder top "H" link (8) and the bracket assembly.7. Put washers (7) in position between the top "H" link and the bracket assembly. Put clean grease on pin (9). Use tool (A) and install pin (9) as shown. 8. Remove wooden blocks (10) from the hitch assembly. 9. Connect bracket (11) on the bracket assembly.10.
