Determine if the fan support bracket (A) on your tractor is offset from the radiator guard with two rectangular blocks (B) or with four cylindrical spacers (C). Refer to Illustrations 5,6, and7. If the spacers (C) are used, no modification is required. Proceed to the next section. If the blocks (B) are used, the bracket assembly (A) will need to be modified. Discard the two blocks and four bolts (D) used to bolt the block to the radiator guard.

Weld four weld nuts (1) on backside of the bracket (A). Locate two weld nuts on each end of the bracket in holes shown in Illustration 8.Assembly Of Kits Parts

Assemble Plate As (14) to radiator guard with two bolts (6) and two washers (7).
After the radiator guard is assembled to the tractor, radiator cores have been assembled and fan is positioned, assemble fan support bracket using four spacers (13), four bolts (5) and four washers (8).Note: Steps 3 and 4 are for 463-5449 Radiator Guard Kit and 463-5450 Radiator Guard Kit ONLY. Refer to Table 2
After the fan is installed and routing all the hoses are complete, install the grill doors (9) and (10) using eight bolts (4) and eight washers (7).
Install either cover (11) for single tilt or cover (12) for dual tilt using three bolts (3) and three washers (2).Note: Steps 5 through 8 are for 463-5451 Radiator Guard Kit and 463-5452 Radiator Guard Kit ONLY. Refer to Table 3
For the quick release grill doors (19) and (20), transfer latch hardware from the old doors.
Assemble one hinge (16) to the top of each grill door using shims (2), four bolts (6), and four washers (7). Use shims as needed to allow latches to function smoothly.
Hang the grill doors from top hinge with one spacer (3) between each hinge and the loop on the radiator guard. Assemble the bottom two hinges (16) using shims (2), four bolts (6), and four washers (7). Use shims as needed to allow latches to function smoothly.
Install either baffles (17) and (18) for single tilt or baffles (11) and (12) for duel tilt using two bolts (6) and one bolt (10) and three washers (9).
Two bolts (4) and two washers (9) are provided to more securely hold the door if desired. It is not necessary to install these bolts if you desire wrench free grill door opening.Woodchip Screens
