Use Tooling (H) to install bearings (21) into tilt cylinder assembly (8).Note: Center the bearing in the bore.

Apply Tooling (J) to the bore of tilt cylinder assembly (8). Use Tooling (K) to Install lip seals (20) into tilt cylinder assembly (8).

Use a suitable lifting device to position tilt cylinder assembly (8) onto the machine. The weight of tilt cylinder assembly (8) is approximately 1013 kg (2233 lb). Align the bore of tilt cylinder assembly (8) with the bore of the machine frame. Use a suitable lifting device to install pin (19). The weight of pin (19) is approximately 50 kg (110 lb).

Apply Tooling (L) to collets (18) inner and outer surface. Install collets (18).
Apply Tooling (L) onto rod (17). Install bolt (17) and nut (16). Tighten nut (16) to a torque of 1800 200 N m (1328 148 lb ft). Use a suitable hammer to strike collets (18) until the initial torque value is reduced to less than 950 N m (701 lb ft). Tighten nuts again to a torque of 1800 200 N m (1328 148 lb ft). Use a suitable hammer to strike collets (18) until the torque value is reduced to less than 1600 N m (1180 lb ft). Tighten nuts (16) to a final torque of 1800 200 N m (1328 148 lb ft).Note: Tighten nuts (16) to a torque of 1800 200 N m (1328 148 lb ft) after 50 hours of operation.

Install hose assembly (15). Connect hose assembly (14). Connect tube assembly (13).

Align the bore that is in tilt lever assembly (22) with the bore that is in tilt cylinder assembly (8). Use a suitable lifting device to install pin assembly (12). The weight of pin assembly (12) is approximately 77 kg (170 lb).
Remove the suitable blocking.

Connect hose assembly (7). Connect hose assembly (6).

Install tube assembly (5) and tighten bolts (4) (if equipped).

Connect harness assembly (3). Install cover assembly (2) and bolts (1) (if equipped).
Adjust the lift kickout and the bucket positioner. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Lift Kickout and Bucket Positioner - Adjust".End By:
