3.4If there is a number or text field in the menu row, it can be edited by pressing the number of that particular row. After doing so, the field will start to flash. A new value can then be entered. Example: Press 2. Feed mode, and START BY FEED KEY will start to flash. Select the required feeding mode (i.e. START BY FEED KEY, START BY SCALING KEYS or AUTOMATIC FEEDING) by using the +/- keys. Confirm the selection by pressing the ENT-key.3.4.1Numerical Fields
In a number field, the value is entered by pressing the number keys, until the field is full, or by pressing the ENT-key when the correct value is showing. If "+ -" is shown at the end of the row, then the +/- keys (arrows) can be used to increase or decrease the value by one, without selecting the field first.3.4.2Text Fields
In a text field, a character is entered using by pressing the key 1 to 4 times, until the correct character is shown. The cursor is then moved to the next position by pressing the TXT-key.If, after choosing the menu option, the field begins blinking, then a word can be selected from a set of pre-programmed texts, using the +/- keys. Pressing the ENT-key will complete the editing, and confirm the new text. Pressing the CLR-key will quit editing, leaving the field as it was to start with.
