1. Remove plug (5) and drain the coolant from the aftercooler into a suitable container for storage or disposal. Reinstall plug (5).2. Remove four bolts and washers (2).3. Remove eighteen bolts (3).4. Remove bracket (4).5. Remove aftercooler housing (1). 6. Remove gasket (6) from cover (1). 7. Remove four bolts and washers (7).8. Remove two elbows (8). 9. Remove two O-ring seals (9).10. Remove two adapters (10). 11. Remove eight bolts (12).12. Remove cooler element (11).13. Remove two O-ring seals (13). 14. Remove eight bolts (15), aftercooler housing (14) and the gasket. 15. Remove four O-ring seals (16). The following steps are for installation of the aftercooler. Prior to installation, check all O-ring seals for damage or wear and replace if necessary. Coat the seals with clean engine oil.
