Installation of 7N1754 Oil Level Gauge makes it easier to check the crankcase oil level. (1) Remove dipstick (A), guide (B), and fitting (C). Remove two exhaust manifold bolts (D) and lock (E). (2) Use 9M3710 Anti-Seize Compound on one bolt (D) and new stud bolt (1) and install with a new lock (2). Tighten them to torques of 32 5 lb. ft. (43.5 6.8). Bend the lock over a flat side of the bolt head. The bolts can be tightened thirty degrees more to get a flat side; do not loosen the bolts to get a flat side. Install a new fitting (3). Install washers (4), guide (5) and nut (6) as shown. Install dipstick (7).
