Position cylinder block (26) on the plate and cover (11).

Position tube (21) on cover (11).

Install shim (25) on tube (21).

Install pistons (23) in guide (22).

Position plate (19) on tube (21).

Install gasket (20) on cover (11).

Position housing (3) on cover (11) and install two bolts (13).

Raise the temperature of bearing (9). Install bearing (9) on shaft (7). Use Tooling (B) and install retaining ring (8) on shaft (7).

Install shaft (7) in housing (3).

Use Tooling (A) and a suitable press to install lip seal (5) in cover (2).
Install O-ring seal (6) on cover (2).

Install cover (2) and bolts (1).
Install O-ring seal (4) on housing (3).

Install O-ring seal (18) on speed sensor (14).

Install four bolts (10) and bolt (12) that fastens cover (11) to housing (3).
Turn in speed sensor (14) by hand until bottom end gently touches the speed ring.
Back out speed sensor (14) 1/4 turn. Continue backing out until the flats are 22 degrees either side of motor shaft center line. Do not back out the speed sensor more than 3/4 of a turn from touching.
Hold the speed sensor from turning, tighten the lock nut to a torque of 13 N m (115 lb in).
Install bracket (16) and bolt (17).End By:
Install the propel motor. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Piston Motor (Propel) - Install".
