Remove screws (1) and remove the side guards (2), on each side of the machine.
Wearing gloves or other suitable hand protection, press your thumb against the center of chains (2). The chains must not move more than 1 cm (0.4 inch) under the pressure of your thumb.

If the tension of the conveyor drive chains needs to be adjusted, remove bolts (3) and remove cover (4).
Loose the four hydraulic motor adjustment bolts (5).
Loose locknuts (6) and turn the adjuster nut (7) until the right tension is obtained.
Tighten the hydraulic motor adjustment bolts and locknuts (5).
Install covers (4) using the bolts (3).
Install side covers (2) using the bolts (1).
Close the right and the left access doors.
