B - - Gap of 0.08 0.05 mm (0.003 0.002 inch) will ensure the metal to metal clamp - up between the shaft and the plate. Check this gap before bolting the plate to the shaft. After the plates are bolted, make sure that the gears can turn freely. Drive the plates toward the carrier with the proper tooling If the gears cannot turn freely.
C - - Maintain a gap of 0.08 0.05 mm (0.003 0.002 inch)to ensure the metal to metal clamp-up between the hub and the retainer during assembly.

Before assembly, apply a thin film of 6V-4876 Lubricant to the contacting surfaces of the metal seal rings. The metal seal rings must be assembled square. The rubber toric seal should not bulge and the rubber toric seal should not twist.
