Illustration 1. Location of components in the new 6E2446 Articulation Cylinder Group. The former 9T2879 Articulation Cylinder Group can be modified as follows to use the larger 8C3411 Bolt.
1. Increase the diameter of the bore through the 9T2875 Piston as shown in Illustration 2.

Illustration 3. Dimensions for modifying the 9T2873 Rod Assembly.3. Fasten the modified piston to the modified rod assembly with a 8C3411 Bolt and 3S7023 Washer. Lubricate the thread of the 8C3411 Bolt with grease.4. Tighten 8C3411 Bolt to a torque of 1600 200 N m (1180 150 lb ft).
