Specification for 343-0592 Exhaust Manifold Gp

1 1 133-3359 Exhaust Manifold Before assembly, apply thin coat of 2P-2333 High Temperature Sealer to the outside diameter of the male end and inside diameter of female end.
Remove the excess sealer from the assembled joints.
2 12 106-1792 Taperlock Stud Torque tool speed should not exceed 100 rpm.
Torque to 35 5 N m (26 4 lb ft).
3 12 2N-2766 Locknut Use the following procedure in order to tighten the locknut:
1. Before assembly, apply Loctite C5A Copper Anti-Seize to the threads and bearing surfaces.
2. Tighten the locknuts in a numerical sequence as shown in Illustration 2 to 20 3 N m (15 2 lb ft).
3. Again, tighten the locknuts in a numerical sequence as shown in Illustration 2 to 50 5 N m (37 4 lb ft).
4 2 6V-5843 Bolt Torque to 25 7 N m (221 62 lb in).
5 1 357-6774 Exhaust Manifold Before assembly, apply thin coat of 2P-2333 High Temperature Sealer to the outside diameter of the male end and inside diameter of the female end.
Remove the excess sealer from the assembled joints.
6 4 357-0351 Taperlock Stud Torque tool speed should not exceed 100 rpm.
Torque to 35 5 N m (26 4 lb ft).
7 1 352-1149 Exhaust Manifold Before assembly, apply thin coat of 2P-2333 High Temperature Sealer to the outside diameter of the male end and inside diameter of the female end.
Remove the excess sealer from the assembled joints.
8 2 9N-5085 Clamp Torque to 7.5 1.0 N m (66.4 8.9 lb in).
Orientation (A) of the clamp is 90 5 degrees.

The total maximum misalignment of the bellows assembly allowed between the exhaust cooler and axis of exhaust manifold elbow is 1.5 mm (0.06 inch) lateral and 1.5 mm (0.06 inch) axial.
