Inspect all 329-4685 and 329-3086 Monitor Control Groups in dealer parts stock.
The date code is the first four digits of the serial number found on the back of the monitor control is in the format of "dddy". For example, the date code 2371 is day 237 of 2011 or 25 Aug 2011.
If the 329-4685 and 329-3086 Monitor Control Groups have a date code on or after 17 Jan 2012, mark the package to indicate that the part has been inspected according to this program and return the part to dealer parts stock.
If the 329-4685 and 329-3086 Monitor Control Groups have a date code before 17 Jan 2012, remove the part from dealer parts stock.

Replace the monitor control with a known good part.
A monitor control with cracked glass must be replaced with a new monitor control with a date code on or after 17 Jan 12. The date code is the first four digits of the serial number found on the back of the monitor control and is in the format of "dddy". For example, the date code 2371 is day 237 of 2011 or 25 Aug 2011.
Ensure the monitor control mounting screws are tightened to 1.7 Nm.
Flash the monitor control with the latest software that is available from SIS Web. Refer to Image1.
