YES - The harness for the AccuGrade System is wired correctly. Proceed to Test Step 2.
NO - The harness for the AccuGrade System is NOT wired correctly.Repair: Repair the harness or replace the harness.STOPTest Step 2. CHECK THE RESISTANCE OF THE CAN DATA LINK
Place the key start switch and the disconnect switch in the OFF position.
Take the following measurement at the 10-pin connector. Measure the resistance across contact "C" and contact "D". Note the resistance.
Take the following measurement at the 4-pin connector. Measure the resistance across contact "3" and contact "4". Note the resistance.Expected Result:The resistance measurements are 60 6 ohms.Results:
YES - The resistance measurements are 60 6 ohms. Proceed to Test Step 4.
NO - The resistance measurements are NOT 60 6 ohms. Proceed to Test Step 3.Test Step 3. CHECK THE TERMINATION RESISTOR
Disconnect the 3-pin connector for the termination resistor.Note: The other termination resistor is inside of the 10-pin quick disconnect.
Measure the resistance across contact "A" and contact "B" of the termination resistor. Note the resistance.
Measure the resistance across contact "C" and contact "D" of the 10-pin quick disconnect. Note the resistance.Expected Result:The resistance measurement is 120 12 ohms.Results:
YES - The resistance measurement is 120 12 ohms. Proceed to Test Step 4.
NO - The resistance measurement is NOT 120 12 ohms.Repair: If the termination resistor did not measure 120 12 ohms, then replace the termination resistor.If the measurement that was taken at the connector for the termination resistor was not 120 12 ohms, then replace the harness or repair the harness.STOPTest Step 4. CHECK THE COIL CABLE FOR THE LASER RECEIVER
The key start switch and the disconnect switch remain in the OFF position.
Remove the coil cable from the laser receiver and the AccuGrade harness.
Measure the resistance across the contacts that are listed in Table 3.

Disconnect the harness connectors from the ECM.
Measure the resistance from contact "J2-64" on the ECM
