Reports have been received that the bucket cylinder piston may loosen on the machines listed above. Due to this issue, the cylinder may seize or drift, and damage the cylinder assembly. Metal contamination created by such failure could also damage the components such as seals, control relief valves, and cylinders.Solution

Rework Procedure

Bucket cylinder piston
(A) Set screws
Tighten the two set screws (A) to a torque of 30 7 N m (265 62 lb in).

Use the punch tool (E) to mark on both edges of each set screw holes (D). Refer to Illustrations 3 and 4.
